Creator program terms

These terms describe the Jael’s Beauty creator referral program. Creating an account lets you submit social profiles. A personal referral code and paid benefits begin only after you accept these terms and Jael’s Beauty approves and enrolls you.

1. Profiles and posts

Add at least one public Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok profile link. You can add one link for each platform you use. Follower counts are not automatically collected from these links. The salon may review public information and record when it was checked.

Submit the public URL and publication date for each eligible post or Reel about Jael’s Beauty. Stories do not count. The salon reviews whether it came from your submitted account, is about the salon, is a new publication, and clearly discloses your partnership. A personal code or link in the post is encouraged for tracking but is not required for the post to count. Reusing the same post URL does not create a second post. A separate publication on another platform may count separately.

2. Tiers and active benefits

Your tier uses accepted posts or Reels published within the most recent 30 calendar days: Silver from 4, Gold from 8, and Diamond from 12. New approved creators receive Silver benefits for their first 30 days. After that, at least 4 accepted posts in the current 30-day window are needed for new referral and content-day benefits. Benefits resume when the requirement is met. Earnings already earned under a prior booking are preserved.

3. Customer offer and referral tracking

Your personal link and code identify referrals. A link may remain associated with the customer’s browser for up to 30 days. A different creator’s personal code entered at booking takes priority over an earlier link. The JAELSAVE customer offer is the salon’s current “up to $50 off” promotion when active and when the booking qualifies. Only one customer discount applies per booking. A personal referral can still be recorded when that visit does not qualify for a customer discount. A generic JAELSAVE code without your link or personal code cannot identify you.

4. Commission

Commission is earned only after an attributed salon visit is completed and fully paid. It is calculated on eligible service charges after the actual customer discount. Tax, tips, hair, and other materials do not count. The salon reviews the final amount, refunds, disputes, and any excluded materials before approval.

Commission rates by creator tier and customer visit number
Tier at bookingFirstSecondThird and later
Silver15%10%5%
Gold25%15%7%
Diamond35%25%15%

The visit number follows the customer’s entire creator-program referral history by normalized phone number, even if that customer later uses another creator’s code. The applicable tier and rate are set when the customer books. A cancelled or expired reservation does not count as a visit. New commission eligibility for that customer ends 12 months after their first completed, fully paid creator-referred visit. The first-visit rate does not restart after that window.

5. Content days

You may request one content day per rolling 30 days, measured from your last completed content day. A request does not reserve a salon appointment; the salon must approve the plan, quote any service, and confirm the booking. Your first completed content-day service has free salon labor at any tier. Hair and materials remain your responsibility. For later content days, the labor discount is Silver 30%, Gold 40%, or Diamond 50%, based on the tier recorded for the request. Cancelled or declined requests do not use your content day.

6. Payment and corrections

After a referred visit is completed and fully paid, its commission remains in a five-calendar-day waiting period measured in the salon’s New York time zone. The salon must also review and approve the final commission. Once both requirements are met, the approved amount appears in your payable balance. You may request all or part of that balance after completing Stripe Connect Express setup; bank details are entered with Stripe, not on this portal. A request reserves the chosen amount for salon review and does not itself move money. A confirmed transfer sends funds to your connected Stripe account; Stripe handles any subsequent bank payout. A click, post, booking, deposit, unpaid visit, or cancelled visit does not trigger payment. If a refund or dispute changes an already paid commission, the salon may record a recovery adjustment and resolve it with you.

7. Honest promotion and program changes

Describe the salon and customer offer accurately. Clearly disclose that you may receive commission and any free or discounted service in each relevant post or Reel. You are responsible for following the rules of the social platform you use. The salon may pause or end future program participation for misuse, false posts, or other violations; recorded eligible commissions remain subject to review and payment. New terms or campaign terms are versioned and do not silently replace a booking’s recorded rate.
